This portable TV monitor was used by the BBC Film Unit mainly on dramas, displaying a colour picture fed by cable directly from the camera/s. A black wraparound hood is included for viewing to reduce reflected glare.It can also be used as a receiver having both VHF and UHF channels, an internal telescopic aerial and a socket for an external antenna. It is powered by an onboard PAG battery (one included is an old Ni-Cad and may not hold its charge) or alternatively an external 12 Volt source such as a car cigarette lighter socket or a battery with a 4-pin XLR output.
