For sale here is a high end Sony DVP-S9000ES SACD & DVD Player. It has been thoroughly tested & cleaned, and plays DVDs and standard CDs with no problem, however it does not recognize SACDs. That said, it has been tested with dual layer SACDs, but the machine only seems to be reading the standard CD layer. I do not currently own any single layer SACDs to test it with. I have also gone into to diagnostic menu to try and realign the laser to get it fully working again, but no luck. I assume the problem is a physical problem with the laser assembly, and may need to be replaced. As for the original Sony RMT-D122A remote control, it has been fully tested and cleaned as well, and was found to be in good working order. It does have some worn buttons however, and two of the four batter contacts show very slight corrosion. This listing is being sold as-is, with no returns accepted as a result of the above issues. Please see available shipping options for your best rate, but please keep in mind that this is a large unit, and weighs almost 30 pounds as-is, so the shipping cost will likely be significant.
