Dust Optic Burns – Image Quality Optic burns may discolor the image or create discolored spots. These spots can be caused by the long hours of use, inappropriate temperature or dust. Dust accumulation is present in most used projectors. It tends to create darker projection image and can leave spots on the projection by getting attached to the optic inside. It may be nearly impossible to remove the dust from the optic without completely disassembling the projector first. Yamaha KX-380, neue Riemen, sorgfältig justiert, 1 Jahr Gewährleistung Yamaha hat dieses Deck 1994 herausgebracht. Dass Logiksteuerung + komplette Elektronik nunmehr auf ein Drittel der in den 70s benötigten Fläche passen, geschenkt. Die ICs laufen allemal stabiler als die der ersten Stunde, und der Wegfall von Verschleißteilen wie mechanische Aufnahme-/Wiedergabeschalter ist ein Segen. Dass man es geschafft hat, alle elektrischen Bauteile von den Bandsorten Erkennungs Fehlern bis zum Bandlauf Erkennungssensor über eine kleine Platine direkt ins Laufwerk zu verpflanzen, treibt die Rationalisierung nochmals voran. Es gibt keinen separaten Windermotor und die Schwungmasse fällt recht klein aus. Anders als beim prinzipiell ähnlich gebauten Teac V600 ist hier aber noch von Masse zu reden: Die Capstan Abdeckplatte hinten entfällt völlig (habe ich so noch nie gesehen), aber die Konstruktion funktioniert. Das Laufwerk ist von Alps. Überraschend die guten Gleichlaufwerte, selbst bei schwierigen Jazz Piano Stellen bricht das Deck nicht ein. Dicke Schalter sucht man vergebens, das regelt sich alles IC-gestützt über Mikrotaster, die über ein Kunststoff Tastenfeld gesteuert werden. Anders als beim Teac V-600 (der eine Plastikfront und Mini-FL Meter hat) wird bei der Optik und Haptik durchaus noch soviel geboten, dass das Deck ein gutes Anfass-Gefühl beschert: Das geht los mit den richtig großzügig bemessenen zweifarbigen (orange / rot ) FL VU Metern, die bei Technics 1979 nicht besser aussahen. Das in den 70s als Luxus geltende Digitalzählwerk ist hier einfach Abfallprodukt der Digitalisierung, Spaß macht es trotzdem. Zumal jetzt die Memory Taste nicht auf 000 Stop beschränkt ist, ich kann jeden beliebigen Zählerstand auf Memory setzen. Komfort Features: Play Trim (zur Anpassung der Wiedergabe an Kassetten, die auf schlecht justierten Decks aufgenommen wurde). Dies ist hier allerdings nur als Höhenabsenkung/-anhebung realisiert, vom Saba CD 278 (ja sogar vom späten Sony Deck TC-WE475) kenne ich sowas als echte Eingriffsmöglichkeit in die Motorgeschwindigkeit. Ansonsten gibt es Bias Fine und Dolby B und C Rauschunterdrückung. Hart Permalloy Aufnahme-/Wiedergabekopf, hier ist Yamahas recht hochwertiger GF37 Kopf verbaut. Natürlich unterstützt das Deck Typ IV Metal Tape, dort ist der Frequenzgang 20-19.000 Hz, mit Dolby C beträgt der Rauschspannungsabstand 74 dB. Die Alu-Frontplatte bei diesem Deck ist schwarz (es gab auch eine Variante in Titan-silber). Es lässt sich eigentlich nur von Yamaha sagen, dass jedenfalls die schwarzen Alu-Komponenten von 2020 zu den schwarzen Komponenten von 1980 in Maßen und Optik passen. Bei dem Laufwerk haben wir die Riemen und die Bandandruckrolle gewechselt (den Riemensatz bieten wir über acwsoft-audio-parts an), alles andere war in Ordnung. Gerät wurde natürlich komplett zerlegt, die Frontplatte gereinigt. Optisch gut bis sehr gut. Wenige dünne Kratzer auf dem Kunststoff-Kassettenfachdeckel. Das Deck hat die Maße 43,5 x 12,6 x 28,5 cm und passt damit hervorragend zu anderen Yamaha Komponenten. Das 1 Jahr später erschienene KX-393 stimmt übrigens technisch mit diesem Modell überein, nur das Design wurde geändert. Das Modell ist fernbedienbar, die Fernbedienung gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang.
