Lapparecchio è in ottime condizioni estetiche come si può vedere dalle foto, ci sono solo alcuni graffi sul coperchio superiore. 3 testine, 2 motori, Dolby B e C, funzioni di ricerca brani, ingressi e uscite XLR bilanciati. Revisione effettuata: pulizia interno ed esterno, lubrificazione della meccanica, sostituzione condensatori elettrolitici FRAKO nelle varie schede, recap totale della scheda di alimentazione, taratura su nastri di riferimento IEC, verifica della risposta in frequenza come da manuale di servizio. Con nastro SONY HF-S è stato misurato su entrambi i canali uno scarto inferiore a 1dB tra 1000 e 12.000Hz, con livello di registrazione -10dB. Funzionamento eccellente, se regolato correttamente è molto difficile distinguere tra originale e registrazione anche con cassette di tipo 1 (verificato con SONY HF-S e HF-ES) e con Dolby inserito. Il comando STOP talvolta richiede di essere premuto un paio di volte prima di reagire, ma è lunica imperfezione rilevata.
