Reslosound Directional Ribbon MicopohoneModel RBT/L, 30-50 ohms With stand, lead and manual as pictured Made In Englandc1960 This classic microphone comes from the collections of an elderly audio enthusiast who is now finding new homes for his large collection of vintage machines and equipment. While I realise that these Reslo mics are sought-after, still useful and can be quite valuable, this one is offered in a damaged condition - as you can see, it has sadly been dropped at some time and the alloy casting of the lower body has broken, losing some of the screw thread on that portion. It is currently securely mounted to the lower stand mount section but this must be by means of epoxy or other fixative as the thread would not be useable. The silver-gold hammered paint finish also has some cracks in it, no doubt caused by the same impact. Because of this damage I will offer it in a 99p auction so that buyers can decide the value for themselves. The internal parts and wiring are very good and undamaged, there are no dents or corrosion and the chromed parts are bright. The mic is clean throughout, and the base is also in a very good, clean and undamaged state. The lead is excellent, fitted in period with a transformer from Ferrograph and with a standard plug. I have tested basic working condition with a small practise guitar amp - clear sound, no crackle or hiss.
