Up for sale are a nice set of Morel Duet speakers. They also go by Renaissance Audio due to legal dispute with Morel and Morel USA. My understanding is they were designed by Morel and they use Morel woofers and tweeters. They are unique because they use a transmission line cabinet which extends the bass response lower than a typical ported enclosure and also has a slower dropoff for a smooth, deep and hearty bass response. Online specs state they are rated to play down to 42 hz. These speakers have been examined, tested and enjoyed. They sound great! Very smooth highs with no sense of additional brightness, very well done midrange for excellent vocals and great bass to fill in the bottom end. These have some wear minor wear and tear. One large scratch on one side of one cabinet and a mark on the bottom corner of the other as pictured. Tweeter domes and woofer dustcaps are not pushed in. Selling one my my prized possessions here! These speakers were made at the pinnacle of Infinity’s audiophile / high-end days. Shortly afterwards they were sold off and moved into the home theatre space. The Renaissance line improves on the previous Kappa series with better EMITs for high and high-mid frequencies. Gone are the problematic poly-dome mids. These are also easier to drive with an 8 ohm amplifier and require only 150 wpc to drive comfortably. They sound amazing! Can easily support a large room. Great soundstage and crisp highs. You will not be disappointed! They are bi-amp compatible and that’s how I’m driving them. No need for a subwoofer unless you want to go over the top. Great condition overall. One of the grills snapped in the last move and will need to be remade if you want to use them. The other is good and both are included. I prefer the naked look with the blonde oak. I can demo them for the next couple weeks and then they’re heading to Florida again.

Ich biete hier die o.g. Endstufe an. Diese wurde aufwendig aufgearbeitet. Die Bilder zeigen den Zustand vorher/nachher. Die Arbeiten wurden von einem Fachmann für Röhrenverstärker durchgeführt. Auf Wunsch sind Videos von der Endkontrolle und vom Endabgleich verfügbar. Die Endstufe läuft brumm- und rauschfrei selbst an wirkungsgradstarken Lautsprechern. Der optische Zustand ist nahezu neuwertig mit marginalen Gebrauchsspuren. Die zum Abgleich benutzten Röhren kommen als kostenlose Beigabe zur Endstufe hinzu und sind nicht Bestandteil der Auktion. Hier soll der Käufer selbst eine Auswahl nach seinem Geschmack treffen. Hier passen EL34 und vergleichbare Typen. In der Eingangssektion stecken JJECC803S neuwertig. Weitere Bilder auf Wunsch möglich. Ich werde folgend in einer weiteren Auktion noch die passende Vorstufe anbieten. Diese befindet sich gerade in der Revision. Bestückung also je zwei EL34 in der Leistungssektion und jeweils eine ECC83 in der Eingangs- und Phasensplittersektion. Der Trafo wurde aufwendig mechanisch endbrummt, ein neues Poti wurde eingebaut, Die Netzteilelkos erneuert und die Verkabelung sämtlich getauscht und brumm- und rauschoptimiert neu verlegt. Alles den Bildern zu entnehmen. Die Endstufe hat laut Hersteller eine Leistung von ca. zwei mal 35 Watt an 8 Ohm. Es handelt sich um eine s.g. Fixed Bias Schaltung, die Endröhren müssen intern abgeglichen werden. Dies sollte von einem Fachmann durchgeführt werden. Die mitgelieferten Geschenkröhren sind auf jeweils 25mA eingestellt und werden von mir nummeriert versendet. Somit ist eine erste Inbetriebnahme durch den Käufer gewährleistet. Ein Versand ist auf Risiko des Käufers natürlich möglich, eine Abholung leider nicht. Keine Rücknahme und keine Nachverhandlungen.
