For sale is a vintage Rek O Kut N-33H single speed (33 1/3) belt-drive turntable with a Denon DA-307 tonearm and a Denon DL-103 MC cartridge in good condition. Our tech has confirmed this table to be in great working order. This is a super cool turntable that has an absolutely amazing sound. The bass response, spacious sound stage, and clarity from this turntable, tone arm, and cartridge combo is very impressive. It also looks really cool. The Denon DA-307 dynamic damping S-shaped tone arm is phenomenal for tracking because of its curved construction and has a specially designed damping arm that nearly eliminates outside vibrations from reaching the needle. This Denon DL-103 low output moving coil cartridge sounds absolutely incredible when played on this table. The tone, realism, and lucidity you receive from this cartridge is simply fantastic; Even though it has been slightly used, but still has plenty of life left. The cosmetic state of this turntable may not be perfect, but it is still in great shape for its age. (All cosmetic issues have been showcased in the pictures above). For sale, a newly restored Rek-O-Kut N-33H turntable, made in US 1959. For the person who loves the vintage gear without sacrificing sound quality. Completely gone through. New paint on all upper surfaces, new sturdy rigid plinth made from MDF (painted black.) Motor bearing cleaned and lubed, turntable spindle micro polished. Platter cleaned and polished on lathe (these tend to be tarnished and some of that remains). New, correct rubber motor mounts. Silicon Nitride ball bearing.The tonearm is a Micro Seiki MA-303, all metal, very precise, balances perfectly. Lift lowers slowly. Spindle to headshell distance is correct. Acutex headshell. New RCA connectors on the back. N33H is 33.3 RPM only, belt drive with new belt and felt platter mat. Speed is pretty much spot on, as long as the belt is in correct place, tested with strobe. Newly painted gray steel top is not perfect but certainly presentable. There is no hum or rumble. Motor makes a soft spinning sound that I am told is normal. This is an original grooved rubber platter mat for vintage Rek-O-Kut turntables. The mat is 11 inches wide, thus should be compatible with many of vintage Rek-O-Kut models such as the Rondine models. If you have a restored Rek-O-Kut that has a generic replacement mat, or your mat is in poor condition, this would be a great upgrade for your turntable.
