CAN YOU USE A SECOND AMP TO BIAMP YOUR SYSTEM WITH THE REGA MIRA 3? Yes. The Mira 3 has a set of Pre-Out outputs which can be used for biamping your sound system. For biamping speakers it is recommended that you use a Rega power amp such as the Rega Maia. The Mira 3 can also be used as a preamp to drive an external power amplifier. ORIGINAL OWNER? No. I bought the unit used on EBAY. CONDITION: VERY GOOD pre-owned cosmetic condition. No significant scuffs or scratches and has no dings. The all-metal casing is a bit dull from handling and age but could probably be made a bit shiny with metal cleaner and polish. EXCELLENT functional operating condition. ***NOTE: The plastic color coded screw tightening caps on the speaker output terminals are missing (they probably broke off when the previous owner owned the unit). The all-metal speaker output terminals will accept speaker cables terminated with banana plugs.*** On Rega integrated amplifiers and power amplifiers such as the Mira (as viewed from the FRONT of the amplifier) the RIGHT speaker output terminal = + (Positive). The LEFT speaker output terminal = - (Negative). ORIGINAL SHIPPING CARTON? NO, but I will box the unit securely with full top and bottom foam inserts to cushion and to protect the unit from damage during shipping. REMOTE CONTROL UNIT (RCU) INCLUDED? Yes. I do not have the original OEM RCU that originally came with the unit as the original owner sold it to me without a remote control unit. However, I am including an RCU which is compatible with the Mira 3 and is the same one that the current Rega Brio uses. OWNERS MANUAL INCLUDED? NO, but operating the unit is pretty straight forward to operate and you can probably find the owners manual online. AC POWER CORD INCLUDED: YES. I do not have the OEM AC power cord that originally came with the unit when sold new but I will include an AC power cord that is compatible with the unit. WARRANTY? NO. I am the second owner of this fantastic Rega amp. After 25 years of listening and owning to some wonderful tube and ss amplifiers, this is one of my favorites. The amp and remote are in near mint condition- I cant see any marks on the amplifier case.The box- there is some writing on the box from the previous owner that says living room, probably from a move and the box was put away somewhere. It has all of the foam inserts to keep the amp stable. It was sent to me double boxed and looks like it was originally from Sound Organization. I like my boxes in good shape too but it doesnt affect the condition of the amp. Just being transparent as to the condition of the box since the first owner wasnt with me.
