This turntable is in great condition and sound great.The only thing of note is that the lid seems to be a P2 one (only noticeable from the the lid emblem which could easily be removed/change), the lid has scratches but nothing bad or really noticeable from a distance. The P3 24 was a great product that essentially became the Planar 3 we see today.It offered the Planar 3/P3 turntable but with the addition of the 24v power supply already onboard (as the Planar is today). The P3 24 is a great turntable in stock form. If you fit one of the Rega cartridges then the 3 point mounting makes it a doddle to set up!I upgraded from the Elys 2 which was originally supplied to an Ania. Both are very good and so much easier to install with the 3 point mount. It is essentially a plug and play turntable but also offers a very simple upgrade path as it has the 24v motor kit onboard you can add a TTPSU/NEO.A standard Rega 24V mains plug will be included. Here for sale is a beautifully designed & manufactured counterweight & shaft for the Rega RB250, RB251, RB300, RB301, RB303, RB330, RB600, RB700 & RB900 tonearms. The main body of the counterweight is CNC machined for accuracy from aluminium grade 6026, the shaft is CNC machined from stainless steel grade 304 & the weights are CNC machined from brass or stainless steel (please specify when ordering). Fitting could not be more straightforward, simply unscrew your existing stub axle or counterweight shaft & screw the new shaft in. You can gently tighten the shaft by inserting an allen key or small drill through the end of the shaft & turning in a clock wise direction. I design & manufacture these counterweights, the development of which, took many hours of experimentation & listening. The results are both visually & audibly impressive.
