I cant guarantee the age of the belt, but lets hope you were going to replace it anyway. It works, but go ahead and install a new belt. I removed and cleaned the sub-platter (gasp!). I had no idea how old the oil was and I didnt want to test it until I was sure it was cleaned and lubricated. Its not rocket science. I cleaned the spindle with 99% industrial isopropyl alcohol and cleaned out the well with lint-free detailing swabs. I refilled the well with exactly 3 drops of hypoid gear oil. I dont like the feet on the P5. If it were me, I would replace them. Theres nothing damaged about them, I just dont care for them. I also dont care for the plastic sub-spindle. There are aluminum options out there if you are so inclined. The Perspex (British, remember) dust cover is in great condition with only the faintest wisps of scratches. It could easily be polished out with some superfine 3M machine polish if you need it to be invisible. Im nitpicking here. Its really in fantastic shape. Youll find a link to a demo video below. Obviously this was not an ideal testing setup sitting on top of an old A/V receiver, but I didnt feel like moving components around. Ich verkaufe hier meinen Rega Planar 6 mit Rega Ania Tonabnehmer und NEO-Netzteil. Diesen habe ich am 05.01.2022 bei fidelity-hh.de bestellt und ein paar Tage später erhalten. Die Rechnung vom 06.01.2022 liegt bei. Das Gerät wurde höchstens 10-20 Stunden gespielt, der Tonabnehmer wurde somit kaum benutzt.Ich bin immer vorsichtig mit dem Gerät umgegangen, es ist aber empfindlich und hat Gebrauchsspuren: - Der Deckel hat viele feine Kratzer (auf der gesamten Oberseite - Acryl halt), die man sieht, wenn man genau hinschaut oder diesen ins Licht hält. Auf der linken Seite hat dieser einen Produktionsfehler, Reste von der Produktion oder einfach Dreck den ich nicht wegbekommen habe (siehe letztes Bild). - Die Ränder, auf denen der Deckel beim Zuklappen aufsetzt, verlieren etwas Farbe. An den zwei hinteren Ecken ist es am deutlichsten. Siehe das dritt- und zweitletzte Bild. Abgesehen von den zwei hinteren Ecken muss man genau hinschauen um es zu sehen. Beide Gebrauchsspuren sind rein optischer Natur. Der Rest vom Plattenspieler und Netzteil haben höchstens leichte Gebrauchsspuren optischer Natur. Der Plattenspieler funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Ania-Tonabnehmer wurde nie vom Tonarm entfernt. Ich habe noch die Originalverpackung mit Original-Verpackungsmaterial, daher kann das Gerät sicher verschickt werden. Fantastic Rega RP10 Turntable c/w original PSU and Apheta 2 Moving Coil Cartridge, new belts fitted, fully tested and working perfectly. The cartridge has had a maximum of 100 hours use and the stylus tip is in excellent shape - no sibilance, no inner groove distortion. The RB2000 tonearm and heavyweight acrylic platter bearings are perfect and both speeds run completely true. The outer plinth that the lid attaches to is removable and it seems to be the case that most owners set the deck up utilising just the inner plinth sat on its three conical feet. Please note that the 3 rubber o rings that sit inside the outer plinth have perished but can be sourced through a Rega dealer should you want to replace (please see photos). Cosmetically the deck is in great shape overall with a few light scuffs and scratches on the lid and similar on the top of the psu - the tonearm and platter are perfect with no dints or chips. The RP10 is built to a very high standard, everything feels very solid and this is also matched by its sonic performance - it is musical, engaging, articulate and quick with great dynamics, it stays true to the original recorded material and is endlessly listenable, a very special deck indeed.
