Custom Rega Planar 3 with Denon DP-790 tonearm. Comes with new tonearm cables and ground wire. New silicone damping feet. Glass platter is free of any defects and the [plinth is in excellent. Deck strobed and is right on the money.

Original Rega Planar glass platter and wool mat from a 2021 P3 turntable +a Specialty AV Cork / Rubber 3mm Turntable Record Mat with record Label recess in the center. The glass platter has no scratch, no chip, like new. The mats are in excellent conditions. See pictures of the actual items attached.

Rega P9 Planar 9 with Dynavector KARAT 17D2 MC Cartridge. Amazing turntable!! Comes with linear PSU and power cable. Fully functional. I am the original owner, well cared for. I have the original boxes and manual which I will provide. Dust cover has some dings and small scratches. The unit sounds absolutely incredible. Due to the fragile nature of turntables in general I am only doing local pick up for this.

A Rega P78 turntable, purchased only 1 month ago. The box has been opened but the turntable has never been played as I didnt get around to using it. Its in mint condition in factory packaging with all factory accessories such as mat, manual, power supply. This is a turntable dedicated to 78rpm motor speed only. It doesnt come with a cartridge. Reason for selling: Ive decided not to use it.

Ive replaced the original motor pulley & sub-platter (the originals demanded a drive belt which is no longer available).As configured, standard Rega belts can be used. The main platter is the same as those used on modern P1/P78 turntables i.e. plastic. The lid is intact, with both hinges fully functional. It is not blemish free ! My photographs dont really illustrate this - sorry. A suitable tonearm & cartridge will complete this, shellac-aimed, project. This turntable is 240Vac mains operated with only 78rpm rotation speed provided. If preferred, a two-stage(33rpm / 45rpm) motor pulley could be fitted. A Planar 2 plinth would then exist, albeit with incorrect labelling. I could carry out this task, on request. While collection would be preferred, as its bulky and delicate, Parcel Force will be used if shipped - UK only. Yes, its an expensive option, but they offer tracking and damage-in-transit cover.

Rega Planar 78 Original Glass Platter Version Pristine. I have owned this from new, having bought it at The Sound Gallery in early 1989, and have literally used it once or twice. It has been carefully stored in its original box in a dry room (not the loft!) It includes every single item that was originally in the box, all pristine. My other turntable (not for sale!) is a full fat lp12 so I know how to look after such gear. It comes with a RB250 arm and Goldring 850 78 cartridge; the arm is pristine, free, no play. The cartridge/stylus has had no wear but of course, after this time, it would be wise to check how it (the cartridge) plays. I’d also say that the turntable fundamentally runs fine, but the belt is a bit tired from age, especially as the one silly thing I did was leave it on its pulley. From memory I was very pleasantly surprised to find that 78s can have a richer, more bassy sound than I expected. Rega’s manufacturing precision tbh puts Linn in the shade, and this item is no exception. This is a delicate item; I will post if necessary, but of course collection would be ideal. So the postage you see is just a starter - we can discuss and I ALWAYS refund any postage not paid by me. As a point of integrity I never make money out of postage. If you collect, there are a kallax - box - worth of 78s, roughly 30-40, which you can have for free. Many are eminently playable as my Dad cared for them nicely.

Rega Planar 78RPM Turntable. Very Little Use. Fitted With Goldring 800 78.... Came across some nice classical sets (Koussevitsky etc) and in a fit of Analogue purism bought this. Think it does what it says etc .....
