If you are very much about the custom plinth and known quality components than you will know you are getting a table that is at the very high end of the performance capabilities before you start paying 10k plus. In my research I found one previous sale for 600. Not as nice a cart and not Bamboo. Bamboo is such an interesting plinth material. Its superb ability to absorb vibration makes a very clear difference in performance. Again, each audiowood plinth is handmade even though they share design names. They are all one of a kind. The one wart is that the hinges are broken on the dustcover. If you can figure that out, amazing. If not any of the Rega Planar dustcovers will do the job. The table was 1499 when I got it. The Cart is pretty recent and has maybe 150 hours of Jazz on it. It was 300. This is a great chance to own a beautiful one of a kind type of piece that is actually upgradable by many levels. Bought this to upgrade my Rega but after installing realised it is 50HZ, I need 60HZ. The foam pad on the motor will need adhesive to stick to the plinth, a simple thing to do. Hi, Up for your consideration is VPI HW-19 with Rega Arm, as you can see from the pictures it is in perfect condition and works fine, the dust cover is real nice shape with no issues whatsoever, it also comes with the Optional Cloth Protective cover for it, it has a cartridge that seems to be working fine but I think a quality item like this could use a better one. The plater alone weighs about 17LB , this turntable is very heavy and well made, I am sure if you are looking for this you already know about the quality. Rega Planar 2 / 3 motor, circuit, switch and cable. In perfect working order.

Listing is for an original Rega Planar 3 turntable. Cosmetically clean with all parts. Being sold for parts due to issues with motor. Includes what I believe to be the RB330 tonearm and a Rega Bias 2 cartridge that has been minimally used. (Please see pictures of tonearm and cartridge. Specific models of each are based on observation and recollection but not guaranteed) Motor spins the drive pulley when nothing is attached but pulley stops when belt is attached to sub platter. Could possibly be an easy fix for someone that knows the motor but that’s not me. Also could possibly be used with one of the external Rega motors but since this is an original Planar 3 there is no direct connect for the external motor. Suitability for use with an external motor would need to be determined by Buyer. This would be a great turntable if the motor issue could be resolved. Since I don’t know exactly what it needs to be functional though, it is being sold “as is” for parts and is priced accordingly. Proud to use UPS and USPS as preferred shipping methods.
