In my near 10 years of ownership, I have probably played the turntable a total of 100 hours, if that. Prior owner anecdotally had roughly the same playtime if I remember correctly. I am selling because I have a second turn-table, and this one has not been getting as much airtime, so it’s gotta go. Auction listing starting at $0.99 so it will go for what it goes, no reserve. 100% smoke-free environment. Turntable is ready to play, but please note the following items, which you may choose to replace/upgrade depending on your personal preference: 1. Drive belt (Rega, white) probably needs replacement, but it works fine for now. (I replaced it once during my ownership.) 2. Elys 2 cart - this is the orignal cart that the table shipped with. Between previous owner and myself, the cart probably has around 200 hours on it. Not sure how good/bad that is, but it still plays fine to my ears. Original box is not pictured, but it will ship in it, along with manual and bearing oil. Please advise if you want additional pictures, I will provide them as quickly as possible. This REGA ELYS 2 Turntable Cartridge is a Moving Magnet (MM) type. This cartridge needs retipping as the cantilever suspension has failed. It actually does still work, but the suspension is so low that the cart body is basically sitting on the record, so I’m listing it as “for parts” etc. Once retipped, it will provide high-quality sound for all your audio needs. I am the 2nd owner (2 months) & the first owner said it sat for a year not being used at all (was minty fresh when I received it). Optisch, wie selbstverständlich auch technisch! Der Deckel hat, trotz hoher Achtsamkeit aber leichte Microswirls.
