I purchased this turntable for our interior design in our showroom. It has been in storage for the last 15 years. Upon taking it out of storage I plugged it in and turned it on. The table is working but I have not played an album on it. It was working when I put it in storage. Overall in good condition but has minor scratches on the plastic. These scratches might be able to be removed I just haven’t tried. Message me with questions or for more photos.

I am upgrading to a Planar 8 so am selling my 4 year old Planar 3 with Elys 2 cartridge, which I purchased from an authorized Rega dealer in 2020. Just had it serviced this month (October 2024) with a new belt installed and lubrication of the main spindle bearing. In my near 10 years of ownership, I have probably played the turntable a total of 100 hours, if that. Prior owner anecdotally had roughly the same playtime if I remember correctly. I am selling because I have a second turn-table, and this one has not been getting as much airtime, so it’s gotta go. Auction listing starting at $0.99 so it will go for what it goes, no reserve. 100% smoke-free environment. Turntable is ready to play, but please note the following items, which you may choose to replace/upgrade depending on your personal preference: 1. Drive belt (Rega, white) probably needs replacement, but it works fine for now. (I replaced it once during my ownership.) 2. Elys 2 cart - this is the orignal cart that the table shipped with. Between previous owner and myself, the cart probably has around 200 hours on it. Not sure how good/bad that is, but it still plays fine to my ears. This REGA ELYS 2 Turntable Cartridge is a Moving Magnet (MM) type. This cartridge needs retipping as the cantilever suspension has failed. It actually does still work, but the suspension is so low that the cart body is basically sitting on the record, so I’m listing it as “for parts” etc. Once retipped, it will provide high-quality sound for all your audio needs. I am the 2nd owner (2 months) & the first owner said it sat for a year not being used at all (was minty fresh when I received it). It is in excellent condition & operates beautifully...zero complaints (I have to travel and do not want to pay to move / store until I am more certain of my work plans).
