Personal description added as the previous was standard automated drawl! Purchased in late nineties these speakers performed very nicely with my Nait 1 and AR turntable until (like a fool) I was suckered into the CD revolution and banished the system to the loft. Speaker are pretty good condition for age. They grew up with my kids, so a few knocks and scrapes but nothing major. No foam grilles for speakers but the speakers are unharmed and work perfectly. The foam over the base ports is just starting to perish but is still in place. Fixed steel tube feet including spikes Matt black ash finish Really good sound for the £. Appreciate good speaker cable. Banana plug or wire connection. Great speakers, still worthy of fronting a good budget system. Have been partnered to Cyrus 1 in the past…a great combination. Buyer collects please, (no boxes)
