It was working just fine, but there appears to be a slight crack in the plastic housing of the cartridge. Also, there is a slight bend to the needle. Aus der Familie möchte ich einen Rega RP 10 Plattenspieler verkaufen. Falls ich etwas falsch aufgeschrieben / aufgelistet habe, würde ich mich über eine nette Email freuen. Es handelt sich um einen Rega Plattenspieler (Topmodell und Vorgänger des P10) mit RB2000 Tonarm, der in dieser Modellreihe erstmals eingesetzt wurde,in einem dem Alter entsprechend sehr guten Zustand. Die Haube (originalverpackt und neu), die beiden Antriebsriemen (Original) und der Apheta2 Tonabnehmer sind nagelneu (Originalrechnung s. Fotos). Fantastic Rega RP10 Turntable c/w original PSU and Apheta 2 Moving Coil Cartridge, new belts fitted, fully tested and working perfectly. The cartridge has had a maximum of 100 hours use and the stylus tip is in excellent shape - no sibilance, no inner groove distortion. The RB2000 tonearm and heavyweight acrylic platter bearings are perfect and both speeds run completely true. The outer plinth that the lid attaches to is removable and it seems to be the case that most owners set the deck up utilising just the inner plinth sat on its three conical feet. Please note that the 3 rubber o rings that sit inside the outer plinth have perished but can be sourced through a Rega dealer should you want to replace (please see photos). Cosmetically the deck is in great shape overall with a few light scuffs and scratches on the lid and similar on the top of the psu - the tonearm and platter are perfect with no dints or chips. The RP10 is built to a very high standard, everything feels very solid and this is also matched by its sonic performance - it is musical, engaging, articulate and quick with great dynamics, it stays true to the original recorded material and is endlessly listenable, a very special deck indeed. It comes complete with the original packaging and though we have stated UK buyers only we may be open to shipping overseas if full insurance is paid. 100% positive feedback - any questions please ask away : )
