The SA-102 amplifier boasts a classic look and layout but unfortunately the real power output was no more than 2 wpc and the single tone control was fairly useless. Nevertheless,with some of the entry level speakers that Radio Shack and others offered, performance is quite acceptable--it is a fun amplifier to use with a number of small single driver speakers including Realistic Minimus 8 and Solo-103. The Minimus 8 is a very attractive, solidly built compact speaker with a single 4 driver. These speakers provide a surprisingly pleasant listening experience with excellent imaging and detail. They have a quality look that complements any mid-century decor. At only $ 99 for the system, you would be hard pressed to find a more attractive mini-system and a better bargain.
