Vintage Lab 290 Made in Japan, probably by CEC, for Realistic (Radio Shack) back in the day. Early 1980s. Very nice simple vintage table with little to go wrong. New belt installedCleaned & lubricated; works great. 2 speed; 33 1/3 and 45 RPMAll cables in good shape.Rubber feet underneath in good shape The cue(raise the needle) button requires you hold it to stay up, it no longer clicks in place. Not a feature I use much but you may. The cartridge is a Realistic badged Shure M75 and when you need a new stylus, no problem finding them at a reasonable price. It is semi automatic; meaning you place the needle on the record and it returns the needle and turns off after the record plays. The dust cover has seen better days. It does its purpose, which is keep dust of the table. But it has lots of small and large scratches. One hinge was weak so I strengthened it with a small piece of sheet metal. It stays up and works good. Please ask any questions you might have. If youve never had a record player before, this requires an amp/receiver with a Phono input. Or you could use it with a Home Theater type receiver using a $25 preamp you can get online. From a smoke free home.Thank you.
