Vintage Realistic DX-440 AM/FM ALL BAND Radio. Fully Tested, Works GREAT. Really clean radio that has been fully tested and everything is working. The only defect I could find on this radio is a little ping mark between the MW and SW buttons as shown in the pictures. Super clean battery box and carrying strap, antenna is fully intact and functional. Operates on 6 D cell batteries and 2 AA Batteries. This does NOT come with the optional AC power cord, it is battery only. Comes with the box, original packaging and the owners manual. Its been stored in my Dads closet for years, without the batteries, and he just dont use it anymore.

Realistic DX-440 Shortwave Radio AM /FM / SW / MW / LW WORKS. ***I accidentally snapped off the top of the antenna, see picture. *** No power chord, but I tested it with batteries and works well. The batteries are not included.

Works flawlessly, sounds exactly as it should. Outstanding condition, absolutely perfect externally. There is just a slight bit of rust on one of the springs inside the battery compartment, but it still runs completely fine on batteries. Optional strap not included. Includes AC adapter. FOUND IN MAINE..... a vintage Realistic DX-440 Shortwave Radio AM/FM/SW/MW/LW w/ Box & Power Adapter, and manual. There are some older AA batteries installed in the radio , which operates the display. The main AC Adapter/plug operates the radio, you could also install some d- cells to use in lieu of the adapter, if you wanted. I cleaned it up and plugged it in, the power button ( rubber on/off) was initially a bit touchy at first, but after I pushed it a few times, it powered up and I was able to tune in some FM stations. It has been in storage without use, so maybe needed to be used more? The next time I turned it off and waited 3 hours, it turned on with the first push of the power button. I didnt test all of  the settings, buttons, but the ones I pushed seemed to work. The box looks good, it has (1)- missing small  flap on the top( see pic) I even plugged in my headphones, which also worked. Backlight works as it should, antenna extends out. Missing the shoulder strap. There is the typical age dust inside the metal speaker grill. Sold as is
