Essentially two separate amplifiers sharing only a chassis and power cord, the RB-1090 is capable of putting out 380 watts per channel RMS (both channels driven into 8 ohms from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with less than 0.03% THD). Some minor scratches and blemishes. Great sound!

Rotel RB-1090 2-Channel Amplifier This is a fantastic offering with minimal usage as it spent the last few years in a climate-controlled storage closet. Unit is THX rated with 2-channels, 380-watts per channel w/ RCA or XLR hook-ups. The speaker connections are gold plated screw down or banana plug adaptable. The unit is very clean, but I noticed a mark on the top as pictured. There may be other minor marks or scuffs I didnt notice as this unit is used. The manual is included. I forgot to picture the plug, unit box and shipping box, but all are included. Unit will be packaged in its cloth sleeve like I received. This one boxed up is almost 100 pounds so a friend will be needed to move. I also have/had the matching 5-channel amp and processor. I’m the original owner and I have a perfect condition Rotel RB-1090 for sale. The only reason I’m selling it is because I just picked up a Krell amp and I don’t need both. It’s very heavy and I rather have someone pick it up from my house. You can also audition it here upon payment if that interests you. It also comes with the owners manual as you can see in the photos. This one is a nice as they come, so the price is fair. Im also listing it locally at a cheaper price because there are no fees in my local listings.

Hello. I have had this amplifier power anything from some small bookshelf speakers all the way up to some large Legacy floor standing ones. It has done a beautiful job with all of them. Powerful amplifiers always sound better to me. The headroom in a potentially 1400-watt amplifier provides limitless dynamics and never struggles with anything you throw at it. This amplifier weighs in at 83.6 pounds with its massive power supply. The condition is excellent with a few very minor marks. The face is perfect. It is rated at 380 W per channel into 8 Ohms and a massive 700 W per channel into 4 Ohms. It has a dampening factor of 1000 (anything over 100 is considered good) which means it can control your speakers extremely well after the music signal stops. Most importantly, that means deep, controlled bass. It has balanced (XLR) and single ended (RCA) inputs. For convenience, it has two sets of binding posts to make bi-wiring easier. My asking price is fair for what you will be receiving. To purchase something new of this caliber, you would have to spend over $7000 in today’s money. This is a MONSTER of an amplifier, super duper heavy. It even has wheels in the back to help move it! So shipping is not an option for this. **** LOCAL PICK UP ONLY!!! **** Very clean outside. Clean inside also. Popped the cover off and checked the fuses. Fuses are good. Looks clean inside as well. No burnt parts, no fire, no rust or corrosion, nothing looks out of place. Looks very clean. One channel is just not working (left channel). The other channel works fine. Could be an easy fix for a tech....? This is being sold in AS-IS condition for parts or repair. Local pick up at zip code 95020. Willing to drive to deliver or meet within 50 miles of my location (no more than that).
