This is a class A/B amplifier I am the one and only owner of this fantastic stereo receiver, and I’ll probably regret letting go of it to be honest. But I made a long and thoughtful decision to downsize one of my two stereo systems. Now using powered speakers in that configuration. I say this as to let any potential buyers know that, I’m not selling the receiver due to any lacking performance issues or problems. The receiver works wonderfully and I’ve had zero problems with it, it actually plays streaming music better than the powered speakers I just bought, as those tend to drop audio at times. But I’m sticking with them for now. I’ve had the Yamaha for about 4 ish years now and have enjoyed many moments of highly detailed enjoyable music experiences, but alas I am a curious person and I like to try new things, also this receiver gave me the hifi bug and now I just have to many stereo items in the house. lol So I am now letting this unit go, so others may enjoy it.
