The Kenwood KP series has (1) broken hinges due to age, (2) the transformer body falling due to deterioration of the transformer retaining rubber, and (3) white rubber adhering to the body due to deterioration of the dust cover cushion, all of which have been repaired. Repaired parts (1) The hinges have been repaired by moulding hard ebonite resin plates and reinforcing the weak areas, so there is no risk of damage in the future. (Photos 9-10) (2) Rubber cushions have been inserted in the mounting area and fixed in place. (Photo 12) (3) A cushioning material (urethane rubber) is attached to the cover to prevent scratches on the surface where the dust cover and chassis come into contact.
