A vintage Quantum Electronics IA 100 amplifer from a low-volume English manufacturer from the 1980s. It is in working order and sounds nice. It dates from 1983 (40 years old) according to the internal components. I understand it is 30 watts per channel, but this is gathered from an internet search and cannot be relied on. Please do your own research in this respect if it is important. It appears to be completely original. I have not changed the capacitors but I put them on a current-limiting variac overnight in order to chemically reform them. The volume and balance pots were a bit scratchy, so I used some switch cleaner. There is a tiny bit of scratchiness left but I don’t want to overdo using the switch cleaner - it may settle down with time. There are some rust blisters showing underneath the top plate and this may benefit from being sanded back and resprayed. On the rear it uses standard DIN5 connectors.
