A pair of Chinese produced PCBs and heatsinks to make a clone or similar replica of the original Quad 405 current dumping amplifier. The heatsinks are T shaped as in the original design. There are also a number of components provided including MJ15003 power transistors (cant tell if they are genuine...) and other transistors, resistors, ICs, pads, fuses, capacitors and Dada provided inductors. See photographs. There is probably about 90% of the components needed to complete a pair these amplifiers but I CANNOT guarantee this. If you peruse on line youll find which of the transistors in the provided packs are substitutes for the originals. I would suggest these are suitable only for a competent hobbyist or electrical engineer. I am clearing out a number of parts I accumulated for making my own Quad 405/606 and NAP amplifiers plus a few other items. The PCBs were brought back from China but the heatsinks and most components have been bought in the UK. Being Chinese clones of the original designs, please be aware there may be errors or substitute components. I have no reason to suspect there are any issues with these products but please be aware that some checking may be needed. The creator LJM of some of the Quad boards has been around for some time and is active on a number of hobbyist audio sites and so I believe his stuff to be reliable. Note - these boards have the Zobel network connected to signal ground as in the original Quad design. This means there has to be two separate earth connections to the boards as per the original Quad 405 design (one connection via input sockets, one via heatsink mounting point). The boards will work perfectly fine in this configuration. It is recommended however to make a small correction to the boards to allow only a single earth connection to be made. See the attached note and photograph for details. The starting price reflects the number of items provided......
