For sale: a magnificent set Quad II tube power amplifiers in sublime condition. Serial numbers 48494 and 54217. Both blocks have been repainted and are in mint condition, apart from a few small scratches. Technically they are 100% and acoustically they sound great. They were overhauled by Manfred Stein of Quad Germany in the middle of this year. Among other things, new power connections and on/off switches were installed. The original 6-pin Jones connections for signal transmission are still intact. By means of a removable adapter, these are suitable for RCA connectors. If you remove the adapters, these mono blocks can still be used with the Quad 22 preamplifier. The adapters are of course included. The blocks are set to 15 ohms, in connection with use with Rogers LS3 speakers. This can be changed, if you know how to do it. Each block has two used but still very good Gold Lion KT-66 power tubes and a used but fine 5GZ-32 Mullard directional tube. The EF-86 tubes are new. Four new Gold Lion KT-66 and 2x2 5GZ-32 are included. See photos. I have one set of the 86. new. Original booklets are included. This is a really beautiful set in an exceptionally good condition to enjoy music at a high level for years to come.
