QUAD FM2 / FM II TUNER Spares And Repairs - Powers on and picks up stations but the output is very quiet. I only tried it with a normal amplifier (NOT a Quad), so maybe thats why? This is a Vintage HiFi Quad FM tuner that used valves for the RF section and transistors for FM decoding. It works normally with excellent sound quality and proper functioning of the indicator lights. There are a few minor marks on the paint. Included are the manual and leads for connecting to other Quad units - specifically the Quad 33 control unit which I have listed seperately. Ebay does not provide any way to show the true shipping cost when selling from Israel. The cost shown in the listing is the approximate cost of shipping to Australia. QUAD FM2 Valve Tuner FMII. Really nice condition cosmetically but has backlash in the tuning slug. The two ECC81s are missing but otherwise complete. Good source of parts or could be repaired with parts from an FM1 which has the same tuner unit.
