For sale is one of my beloved solid state amplifiers, the Quad 909. Ive purchased this model about 3-4 times in the past and always seem to go back to it. In fact, I even have a Quad QSP amp (the successor to the 909) that I will be listing next. Sole reason for selling is the purchase of a Quad Artera power amp (see a pattern, here?).I purchased the amp locally from the original owner who used it with a pair of Quad ESL-57s. I would up doing the same thing, but alternated this amp with a pair of Quad II reissues.Cosmetically, the amp is in stellar condition but Ive rated it an 8 to avoid any buyer disappointments. Operationally, it has worked like a charm. This is a US model that has not been converted or upgraded or messed with. The sale includes the owners manual, blank warranty card, a Zu Audio upgraded power chord (5 ft), along with the original packing and shipping carton.Shipping strictly limited to addresses within the Continental United States - no exceptions.

Beautiful Sounding Quad 909 Amplifier. Regretfully must sell my Quad 909. Ive owned many different kinds of amplifiers. Tube, solid state, class A, class D. This is the most versatile amp Ive owned, and it can drive anything thanks to its current dumping technology, invented by Founder Peter Walker in the UK, in 1975. This technology and product lives on as the Quad Artera Stereo - $2995 retail. This unit was completely restored and has upgraded parts that my personal repair guy brought back to original specs and beyond. Its in great shape and driving a pair of Magnepan .7s. financial issues is driving this. Ill likely buy another on when the winds of my finances change. Must sell. Will include manual and all receipts.
