Quad 405-2 power amplifier. The amplifier does work but is presumed not serviced since 1985 and therefore requires one as you can see the large capacitors are bulging in the picture with the top of the amplifer. This example was originally made in 1977 and will have started off as a Quad 405. In 1985 it was returned to Quad for serivce and I presume at this point they upgraded the amplifier boards to 405-2 ones and changed the case badge to reflect this. Cosmetically the amplifier is generally in decent shape but there are some marks as seen in the picture. Being and earlier Quad amplfier it has the 4 pin DIN input. Of use to international customers is the international voltage selector that the early amplifier had on the back to facilitate easy use on other mains voltages. You should check the manual if you plan to do this as the internal fuse on the amplfier will also have to be changed. We can ship worldwide. Please just ask for a quote.
