QED Disc Save DS-1 Pre Amp - Powered from Internal batteries or external 12v power supply (not supplied) I purchased this to convert all of my LPs (vinyl!) to MP3 format on my PC but never got round to using it. It would be installed between the Stereo L&R phono output from my turntable into my Audio in on the PC. It amplified the signal from a MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge on the turntable to the level needed for Line In inputs. It can also be used as a pre-amp between turntable and power amp or headphone amp. It is a great bit of kit with a reputation for excellent build and sound quality. No box, but will be securely packed when posted. Happy to answer any questions if I can.
