This Sony turntable works as intended and puts out a great sound. However, there are issues. The issues do not involve record play. One issue is right rear foot is broken off, its missing. I currently have a piece of hard Styrofoam that works fine. The cover is scratched up and the hinges that allow you to open close lid are broken and you cant open the lid correctly. [Image 4]A piece of styrofoam is stuck to the main units power cable and cannot be removed. [Image 5]The base of the arm seems to be a little loose after many years of use, but I didnt adjust the screws because there was no problem with playback, rather than messing with it and making it worse. [Image 6]It was working fine until the other day, and I didnt feel like the belt was breaking or stretching.(The belt was removed during repacking and placed in the same bag as the instruction manual.
