Hierbei handelt es sich aber nur um 2 Scheiben mit (A) 37,5 x 1,9 mm und 18g Gewicht und (B) 37,5 x 3,7 mm und 34 g Gewicht. Wenn Sie das wirklich benötigen dann können Sie im nächsten Baumarkt 2 Beilagscheiben beschaffen,das Gewicht muß nicht exakt stimmen, da der Tonarm selbständig regelt. Die vollautomatische Steuerung funktioniert, beim Rücklauf des Tonarms bremst dieser manchmal etwas zu früh auf niedriges Tempo zum Anfahren an die Tonarmauflage. Wenn Sie das stört dann kurz 2x auf Start/Stop drücken und er fährt wieder Normaltempo. Der Tonarmlift setzt ab und an etwas schneller ab, das dürfte eine Abgleichsache sein Die Haube hat übliche altersbedingte Spuren, jedoch keine starken oder auffälligen Kratzer, die Scharniere haben auch die nötige Federspannung und halten die Haube sicher oben. Die Scharnieraufnahmen haben leichte Risse, diese sollten langfristig gesehen irgendwann mit einem UV-Kleber versiegelt werden, aber als Grobmotoriker überlasse ich dies dem Käufer. Zudem ist die Funktion der Haube nicht beeinträchtigt und wenn man den Dreher pfleglich behandelt dann hält das auch noch weitere Jahre. Leider ist die Haube an der linken Seite durch Sonneneinstrahlung etwas getrübt, die Oberseite ist aber vorwiegend klar. Richtig auffallen tut es eigentlich nur bei Sonnenbestrahlung, bei normalem Raumlicht fällt es nicht sehr auf. Da es sich hier um einen wirklichen Ausnahme-Player handelt, den ich lieber nicht verschicken möchte, bitte ich um Abholung. Aber Ihr braucht nicht meinem Wort zu glauben, es gibt genug hiEnd-Puristen die auch einen gewissen Comfort bevorzugen solange der Klang dabei nicht auf der Strecke bleibt. Hier ein kurzer Bericht von einem echten Liebhaber der auch in technischer hinsicht ein echter Fachmann ist, ein Bericht von seiner Website: top-audio . de Dieser SONY PS-X800 war und ist der beste Plattenspieler, den ich mir je gekauft habe! Der PS-X800 war mal der Referenzspieler bei der Hifi-Zeitschrift Audio! Er war, soweit ich das mitbekommen habe, der letzte Referenz-Plattenspieler mit integriertem Tangentialtonarm. Der PS-X800 war zu der Bauzeit das Spitzenmodell der sogenannten Biotracer-Plattenspieler. Durch Sensorkontrollierte Regelkreise werden Tonarmresonanzen erfasst und durch winzige Schrittmotoren sehr schnell und wirksam unterdrückt. Es handelt sich sozusagen um ein elektromechanisches Filter, das die Kombination mit Tonabnehmern unterschiedlichster Parameter an diesem Tonarm ermöglicht, wobei Tiefenresonanzen gleichzeitig hervorragend eliminiert werden. So gesehen ist diese Tonarmkontrolle sehr trickreich, was aber auch den Preis verständlicherweise nach oben treibt. Das Ergebnis ist es am Ende aber allemal wert und ich bereue diesen Kauf niemals. Mit diesem Tonarm und dem perfekten Direktantrieb war es auch kein Wunder, das die Referenzklasse für lange Zeit von diesem Player angeführt wurde. Ich bin auch heute noch stolzer Besitzer dieses wirklichen absoluten Spitzenklassegerätes. Dieser Plattenspieler hat aber auch eine Menge zu bieten. Alle beweglichen Elemente am Player werden sämtlich Computergesteuert. Dazu gehört selbstverständlich der Direktantrieb des Plattentellers. Die Kontrolle des Tangential-Tonarms, dessen Drehwinkel und die elektronische Einstellung des Auflagegewichts (Bedienknopf im Bild links) sowie die Antiskatingkontrolle gehören genau so dazu. Die Drehzahl des Plattentellers kann auch während des Betriebes verändert werden. Was er nicht hat, ist eine Pitchcontrol. Die wird im Heimgebrauch auch nicht benötigt. Das ist mehr was für die DJs oder Studios. Die Bedienelemente sind auch während des Betriebes immer erreichbar, ohne dazu die Abdeckhaube öffnen zu müssen. So ist z.B. der Arm-Lift als Taste ausgeführt, die den Lift sehr sanft hebt oder senkt. Die Tangential-Tonarmbewegung kann langsam oder schnell nach links oder rechts gefahren werden. Der Tangentialarm tastet die Rille der analogen LP in der gleichen Weise ab, wie sie vorher bei der Herstellung hinein geschnitten wurde, nämlich ebenfalls tangential. Der Vorteil hierbei ist die Tatsache, das der Arm keine Drehbewegung mehr macht, wie es bei den herkömmlichen Tonarmen üblich ist. Durch diese Drehbewegung liegt ein Standard Dreh-Tonarm nur an einer einzigen Stelle exakt im 90° Winkel zur LP. Jede andere Position wird mit einem mehr oder weniger falschen Winkel abgetastet, was nicht mehr dem Ursprungswinkel der Schneidemaschine entspricht. Diese Eigenschaft geht mit der Zeit zu Lasten der Lebensdauer der Abtastnadel und die sind nun mal das klangbeeinflussendste Element des gesamten Players! Leider muß unter diesem Missstand auch die Platte selbst leiden, da der Abtastwinkel eben bei falscher Stellung auch einen unerwünschten Verschleiß der Rille durch die Lesenadel mit sich bringt! Das geht zwar nur sehr schleichend, aber mit der Zeit kann das unwiderrufbare Schäden an der Plattenrille verursachen. Und das wollen wir Vinylfreunde doch nun wirklich nicht. This is the flagship Sony turntable. I love linear tracking turntables. This cool device works but needs some tweeking. Physically The its in great shape. No dents or dings in the base. The dustcover tab is broken on one side. This could be fixed with little work. The dustcover is really nice with almost no surface scratches. It has a mylar overlay with some techy pics and tech. (See pics) It has various microprocessor controlled functions. Each time you turn it on and release the tone arm, it balances the arm and sets the stylus pressure. That function works but needs adjustment. Once the arm balances, its ready to go and the green START light illuminates. Pressing the START button initiates the arm picking up and moving to the record lead in groove. The arm decends smoothly to the record. It has a hard time advancing unless the stylus pressure is increased. The arm moves correctly with the left and right controls. I installed a good Ortofon Red cartridge. Its a little heavy for this arm. The cueing works as intended too. I purchased replacement belts (included) but I dont think they are bad since the arm responds to left right commands. The arm doesnt return to the parked location at the end of a record, but it lifts and stops platter rotation. I will include the user and tech manuals that I downloaded and printed. Original 45 adapter. I will try to replicate the packing and transit screws. . Ive shipped turntables before and know how to do it. Ask me questions.

SONY PS-X800 ________________ This is a vintage Sony model PS-X800 stereo turntable system. This sale includes the stereo, manual & other standard papers, a Fidelity Research model FR-1 MK3F moving coil phono cartridge w/ 2 boxes and instructions (the needle piece somehow was bent over & broken just after the pictures here were taken, Im not sure if this is something which can be replaced or fixed easily or not), a Sony brand needle, 2 tone arm weights, packing foam stabilizer blocks for the tone arm, turntable packing cover, and the set box w/ inserts. The stereo has some intermittent issues and likely needs calibration or possibly other repairs. Ive just recently replaced the tone arm belts so the arm will move smoothly back and forth though some current issues include the needle dropping down just before the edge of the record rather than onto the beginning of the record when the play button is pushed, issues with the buttons such as the needle raising/lowering button usually working when raising the needle though not working when trying to lower the needle, the speed button working with the left direction button though not the right, occasionally the needle will move a lot faster than it should and skips through a record as it plays, the player may need 30 seconds or so after being plugged in before the play button will work, when the tone arm returns to its cradle position after a record has been played it will drop down and continue to make a little noise and slight movements, and other similar types of functional issues. I have not tried hooking up speakers or tested any of the other jacks so I could not say for sure if those features are working ok or not though the LEDs all work fine, as does the repeat feature, and the turntable will correctly vary in speed depending on whether the 33 or 45 record type is selected. Cosmetically, the record player is in pretty good shape with some scuffing, scratches, and other non-major cosmetic wear, as well as a piece of tape covering part of the RCA/antenna cable for some reason, though for the most part the record player has been pretty well taken care of over the years. The players plastic cover shell is included though the hinge points have either cracked or completely broken so adhesive has been added for reinforcement though the hinge points are still a bit delicate. The manual and other Sony papers are ok though have some bending, wrinkling, and other age/storage wear & tear, and the warranty card is not included. The MK3F packaging & instructions are in good shape with light wear, and the foam tone arm spacers are good with a little wear as well. The Sony set box has a torn off top flap and other significant wear & tear, though the torn off flap has now been reassembled as much as possible and taped back in place, and some of the other edges have been reinforced with tape as well. The box inserts are functional though have some wear as well. This set is being sold as-is, for parts only.
