Offered today is a Klipsch KDA 500 NA audio power amplifier. Here is the limited testing that I performed. A few seconds after the amp is switched on,the red light on the front comes on,if I touch the channel one input with the tip of a screwdriver,the light turns blue. I have only one PA speaker to test with,so I hooked the speaker up to all 4 outputs(one at time),and I would get a get output from each,when I would touch the + input with the screwdriver. So it passed that basic test.I do not have the resources to fully test every function,nor do I know what all the functions are.The exterior has scrapes,marks,etc,nothing to bad.I took the cover off and took some pictures inside.The inside looks like new,not a spec of dust !One of the output plugs is missing,as well as a power cord,all the other plugs will be in a grey bag taped to the packaging inside. All boxed up this thing weighs 19 pounds. MSRP in 2002 was $1200 for the Preamplifier and $500 for the M-500 power supply. None of this technology is outdated as this is meant to be a fully analogue preamplifier as the specifications show. This would translate to almost 3,000 in 2024 dollars. At this price you are getting an absolute Audiophile Quality piece at a retail store brand price. I would invite you to go check out other pricing, but you cant. No one sells them once they have them. The closest you will find is a 4.6 with the upgraded Power supply...this is a significantly superior piece and was the PS Audio TOTL when released.
