Product Description Retaining the simple, beautiful design of the Project Essential II, the Essential III A (Open Box) has brought even more to this elegant turntable. Boasting acoustically neutral character, and coming wrapped in a high gloss paint finish, the Essential III A combines style with functionality. The plinth is mounted on three anti-vibration feet which helps with the effective decoupling of the turntable from the surface upon which it has been placed. The Essential III A features an upgraded Acryl-IT E platter, which offers an inert platform for your vinyl records to reduce any unwanted resonance and tinny frequencies whilst accentuating mid-range. The Acryl-IT is also available to buy separately. A felt mat is supplied with the Essential III, but the turntable can be used either with or without it. The platter is constructed with a Stainless Steel bearing in a bronze bushing and a Teflon-lined bottom to allow for smoother rotation. Using the 9v motor previously used in the Essential II, the Project Essential III A is the first to use a new integrated grounding link which reduces electrical interference to much lower levels than previously seen. The Essential III A houses a motor that has a synchronous AC design driven by the built in signal generator, this makes sure it runs at optimal speed whilst reducing stability and minimising any unwanted resonances. The Project Essential III As tone arm is 8.6 and is made of lightweight, premium aluminium, which has been used for its rigidity to ensure the best quality playback possible.
