Everything works perfectly except for the display, which has a few corrupt pixels. See the last few pics, where the upper right corner of the ones digit of the volume number is missing. The sound, buttons, input-terminals, output-terminals, and the remote all function as expected. On a personal note, the sound is beautiful; Ive enjoyed this pre-amp for something like two decades.

This is a wonderful sounding preamp. I think the on board DAC is good but dark but occasionally tube like. Use with a modern dac and you will have a fantastic modern audiophile sound. Yo are bidding on an Old School, but amazing pre-amplifier.  One Madrigal Proceed AVP-S, once called the poor mans Mark Levinson as he was the designer of all Madrigal products.  The remote control IS included. This pre-amplifier might not have the latest surround sound processing but can certainly be used for a gaming theater, or even better as a 2 channel preamplifier, because it will rival todays audio pre-amps at 90 percent the cost!!  This unit has had light use and was used in a home theater for about 2 years at only a couple of hours a week, and is in perfectly amazing condition from a functional and sonic stand point!  There is some minor cosmetic scratches on the top from installing and removing it from a mid atlantic rack.  Pictures clearly show any flaws, but looks amazing from all the angles that will show Bid with confidence as I am A Square Trader with over 1600 sales and 21 years on ebay with 100% Positive Feedback I only Ship to PayPal verified addresses Check out my other auctions!!  I have other collectables & watches
