ProAc Response 1SC Speakers Theres little to say about these legendary speakers that hasnt already been said. They have an almost mythical reputation and with good reason too - for they remain unbettered when partnered with tube or class A amplification and are able to produce pure magic with acoustic and spoken word music. Even the ProAc D1 (the model that replaced the 1SC) and ProAc DB1 (the D1s replacement) cannot match the 1SC at their very best. If the 1SC do have a weakness then it is is their need for extraordinarily heavy stands - but sit them on something like Target R2 or R4 speaker stands or Partington Dreadnought or Broadside speaker stands (filled preferably) and they will astonish with their imaging and musicality. Note: these are the revised 1SC model featuring sealed rear panels. Early 1SC speakers have removable rear panels distinguishable by the 12 screws on the back. The revised version supposedly sound a little better. Reason for sale: woofer stopped working a few weeks ago and since been replaced with a brand new woofer which cost £350+ direct from ProAc. Im hoping the item can be repaired by someone who knows about these things, or maybe dismantled and used for parts. Collection welcome or will send fully insured. Any questions - please ask.

Proac Response 1 SC One SC 1Sc Bookshelf Speakers. Some of the finest bookshelf speakers money can buy! Great tone with very realistic portrayal of acoustic instruments and vocals. Very nice wood veneer with just a few imperfections (see photos). Comes with original box and manual. Please note that there is a slight stickiness to the tweeter surrounds if touched, and some of the material will rub off if rubbed firmly. This does not affect the performance and the surrounds can be replaced but I understand it is a fiddly job and that the replacement surrounds would not have the proac logo, so I have left them alone. I will include some tellerium q blue jumper cables if you like. Please let me know via message.
