Unit powers on and spins but I cannot get any sound. Not sure if Im doing something wrong or theres a bad wire in the tonearm. I can touch the wire lead ends on the tonearm with a metal object and get a sound out of the speakers on both positive sides, so I know that the wire is somewhat conducting. I resistance tested the cartridge and it was good, which leaves only the wiring or stylus. Please help me out if you know whats going on. The turntable is in nice shape but the dust cover has many small scratches and wear. Pro-Ject Audio Power Box RS Amp Silver. I was given this by a friend to use with my current Pro-Ject Audio gear who had no use for it. The unit powers up and shines a blue LED when on, but when connected to my amplifier it wont give me sound out of my speakers. I am 95% sure this unit is a European unit (230V) as it came with a 2.5 Amp fuse (US model uses 5 Amp fuse) but I cannot verify this. The unit comes with a US power cord and one 48V cable (illustrated).
