Bestellt habe ich diese am 04.01.2022 bei electronic4you.Das Gerät wurde einige Stunden verwendet (um meine Sammlung von ca. 50 Platten zu reinigen), spätestens ab Mai 2022 wurde das Gerät jedoch nicht mehr verwendet und im Karton aufbewahrt. Das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Gehäuse befindet sich in gutem Zustand.Der Schaumstoff auf dem Unterteil der Plattenklemme ist etwas beschädigt (siehe Bild 6). Um das Gerät verschicken zu können muss ich diesen Schaumstoff anheben, da sich darunter eine Schraube befindet. Ich werde den Schaumstoff auf dem Unterteil lassen, zum Montieren muss dieser somit erneut angehoben werden.Ich habe die zusätzlich beiliegenden Samtlippen für den Absaugarm bereits auf den Absaugarm geklebt, die zusätzlich beiliegenden Samtlippen sind nicht die mitgelieferten (ich habe diese auf Amazon gekauft, diese haben eine andere Form und ich weiß nicht ob diese passen).Die Bürste aus Ziegenhaar ist empfindlich und man sieht, dass diese benutzt wurde. We all take dust for granted in our lives and when you have to keep cleaning your system regularly if you take a pride in it, you know it’s always there. The VC-S is a plain black rectangular box which houses the motor, pump and associated electronics along with a storage chamber for the dirty solution sucked off the records. On top of the unit is a motorised sub platter onto which you place your record. You then screw a top clamp onto this which just covers the record label so that it doesn’t get wet and damaged. You then apply some cleaning solution to the record surface whilst switching the motor on which causes the sub platter to spin in either a clockwise direction or anticlockwise. Using the excellent brush provided spin the record once or twice in each direction with the motor rocker switch and then swing the vacuum cleaning arm over the record lower it onto the record surface and switch the pump on. After just a revolution or two the dirt is lifted off the record and you are left with a pristinely clean record. Repeat the process for the other side of the record and you are done. It only takes about a minute or so to do this and once you get into a routine you find you can clean a whole batch of treasured or newly acquired charity shop vinyl in an hour or so.

Pro-Ject VC-S2 ALU Vinyl Cleaning Machine WORKS GREAT! Free Mofi Fluid included. Terrific reliable vacuum cleaning machine that does a great job. It is a couple years old. I replaced the velvet lips on it a few months ago. I retired it because I decided to go ultrasonic but this really does a great job. You can clean a LOT of records well and quickly with this. It is not too noisy either when the vacuum comes on. I use Mofi Cleaner instead of the fluid that came with it and I have some leftover fluid that I will include free. I think each of those bottles is about $30. One of them is full and unused. I have the original brush and a MoFi brush that I will include. It really has no flaws. It is well cared for and used but not too much. I have a dedicated listening room - no kids or pets. I dont have the original box but I will pack it very carefully and ship it via FedEx I will only ship to lower 48 US. I think I have a good reputation on eBay even though I dont sell a lot but I am not offering you any warranties or returns on this. It works well and is exactly as described here but you are buying it AS IS.
