Stock op amps (OPA1612A & LME 49720) are not included. This is a listing for the XDUOO XD05 PRO with the ESS ES9039SPRO DAC card and SPARKOS SS3602 op amps ($160 value) pre-installed. Installing the SPARKOS SS3602 requires modification. I did not use DIP-8 risers like some people, because it will build up more heat inside the device during operation. Instead, I trimmed part of the SPARKOS SS3602 op amps in order for it to plug into the board without interfering with surrounding capacitors. This is the superior way to install the SPARKOS SS3602. These are big op amps, and you do not want them to occupy more space inside the device than they need. It’s also easier to take them in and out of the device with this modification (in case you want to swap them out for other op amps). I have already done the modification for you, and so there is no need to do it yourself. This XD05 Pro will be ready to go with the SPARKOS SS3602 op amps pre-installed as soon as you receive it. Internal battery is practically as good as new. It was only used to test that it works. After that, the device was used strictly in desktop mode, plugged into a wall.
