This listing is for a Prima Luna Prologue Stereo Integrated Amplifier. I am selling this unit for a friend of mine whos brother recently passed. It has been in storage for some time but appears to be in very nice condition. It has not been tested as I have no way to do that. I have very little knowledge of this type of equipment, the owner tells me that it is in working condition (not verified by me). The fact that it has been in storage would suggest that it probably will need service or adjustment by the new owner. The cabinet is in good condition with no major distress, only a few light scuffs to the finish as seen in the photos. The tubes are Prima Luma EL34 - KT88 and look to be in really good condition, they all light when turned on with no obvious burn marks or distress, they have not been tested. There is a power switch on the right side of the cabinet and a tube selector (EL 34 or KT 88) on the right side of the cabinet. The operation lights on the front panel illuminate when switched on. I dont know the power output of the amp, but I have been told it is 40 watts RMS per channel (class A?). The front panel looks almost brand new and the overall cosmetics of the amp is very nice. The buyer should consider this as needing service and not plug and play. It is very heavy and will be well packed for shipping in a double wall box padded with industrial bubble. This item is sold as-is, as shown and is not returnable because of the bulk and weight, shipping will be via UPS Grounf Transport, and I would suggest insurance to protect your investment. Excellent used condition with only minor blemishes, none of significance in my option - see all of the many photos. Exactly as in the photos. I had this connected through a Parasound P6 preamp into a pair of ATC SCM50SL Active Tower speakers and it sounds great!

Beautiful PrimaLuna power amp. Very heavy , 38 pounds. Beautiful grey metallic automotive type finish including the Very classy tube cage. Lots of super clean tube power, 36wpc. Auto-bias so you don’t need to worry about matched quads of tubes. Extremely high build quality - point to point wiring, solen and nichicon caps. In addition to KT88s, you can use 6550, KT90, EL-34, KT77, 6CA7, 6L6GC, KT66, 7581, EL37, and any of their equivalents. Note that el-34s pictured are not included. Google the reviews and specs; this amp is very well regarded. I will miss it. I am only selling because I have no space for separates and need to go to an integrated amp. It sounds absolutely wonderful - warm and rich without mushiness. Build quality is incredible and it’s lovely to look at. I just want to move to a Primaluna integrated. Amp is in excellent working condition, never had an issue. Sounds absolutely wonderful, kt88 tubes have the most bass thump of any tube I have heard. Enough power to drive all but the most demanding speakers. This amp comes with two sets of tubes. The stock Primaluna kt88 and 12au7 / 12ax7 tubes are included and work just fine. There is also an upgrade set of Genalex Gold Lion kt88s which are basically new, very low hours. These are an excellent set of tubes and very well reviewed, probably the premiere upgrade kt88 right now. This amp has a couple of scratches which I have highlighted in the photos. I have done my best to document anything like that but it is a used item and I may have missed something. Please ask questions to avoid future issues. Comes in original box, will double box. This is the beautiful sounding Primaluna prologue 1 integrated amplifier. I hooked it up just before the auction and it is as lush sounding as ever. Its in great cosmetic condition. PLEASE NOTE - there is one issue that I want to make sure to disclose. If the volume knob is adjusted quickly, theres a crackling sound from the left channel momentarily. However, that sound immediately ceases once the volume knob has been turned. The audio sounds gorgeous. This has winged c el34 power tubes made in Russia. Prima Luna Prologue limited used for about a year since purchase. in original box with Prima Luna EL34 tubes and a set of 4 Mullard EL34 tubes that has not been used much. User can chose the power tubes based on taste but like the Prima Luna tubes in comparison but with additional 4 tubes to go you have a long shelf life for this unit. Very limited used with a variety of speakers but this amp can power any speaker and does not need huge floor standers. Please note this is a power amp so you will need to connect a preamp or a streaming preamplifier as I did, to control source and volume.

Hi there and thank you for viewing my auction! Up for sale is a beautiful Primaluna Prologue Eight Vacuum Tube CD player. (Also known as the Prologue Classic CD Player.) This is the USA, 110-120v version of the player. It is in perfect working condition and sounds fantastic. Included is the original box (triple boxed), a copy of the manual printed on copier paper, a heavy-duty power cord, and the original anodized aluminum remote. It comes with the original Primaluna branded tubes, which should have plenty of life left in them. I rarely used this unit as I typically stream my music to my USB DAC. Now for the flaws as I prefer full disclosure rather than an upset buyer! I want you to be happy with your purchase! The remote is held together with 4 screws and two rubber rings that also serve to protect your furniture from the metal causing scratches. One of the screws from the bottom of the remote is missing. It in no way affects the functionality of the remote, but I want you to be aware. I didnt even notice it until I was preparing the unit for eBay. The only other flaw of note is a slight dent on top of the unit near the back, near one of the vent holes. I think it came that way from the factory, and could just be the way they all are - Im not sure. See photos. I tried to catch it with the camera, but its very hard to see. Theres no nick in the paint or anything, its just slightly pressed in. Again, minor, but I want you to be aware of any and all flaws I was able to find. As mentioned above, this unit is in perfect working condition, but I am selling it AS IS, with no warranty expressed or implied. No returns! Shipping will be calculated by eBay. Its HEAVY (37 lbs)! Up for offer is a pair of stunning Primaluna Prologue mono blocks. These have been used once a week in for about hours. I am the original owner and have the original shipping boxes. The condition is excellent. They arent flawless but you or anyone else wont notice any imperfections. They are stunning sounding amps that have a build quality that is seriously impressive. They have been nearly bullet proof. One KT88 went out a few years ago. Thats it. I am only selling because I need more efficient amps as my listening room is being moved off the grid. If there is a better sounding amp/amps for what Im asking for these, I am not aware of them. These amps have some upgrades which made a very good amps even better.
