The Dayton Audio Pre-Amp/amplifier was used for 2 weeks and it works great. This is a Combination Solid State and Tube Amplifier. The Pre-Amp section is tube operation, using 4 vacuum tubes with the Amplifier being solid state. It is 100 Watts overall, or 50 Watts per channel. This model really does sound very, very good for a smaller Amplifier. Footprint is pretty small overall. It is 11 x 11 x 7 inches. It also comes with a subwoofer output. There are a number of inputs, including bluetooth that can recognize nearby Wi-Fi devices and pair with the device. One can use a smart phone or other mobile BT wireless device and send audio to the unit and listen through speakers which connect to the rear of this amplifier. Please understand this unit will not send audio signals to wireless speakers without another device to receive the signal. You hook your speakers to the rear of this pre-amp/amplifier using speaker wires. Inputs are Bluetooth, Phono/Turntable, USB, AUX (you can attach a CD player or other audio device), COAXIAL, and Optical input. A pushbutton selector switch on the front will light up when using different inputs (6 listed) Note that if No input is attached, the selector switch will skip that selection. It has Bass and Treble tone controls, which do a fine job. There are 2 lighted meters on the front of the unit. It is well made, anodized aluminum case. There are no marks on the case that I can see. It appears new as I recd it when first purchased. I purchased several of these for a project I am working on, designing a Stereo Console system and I used another of the same model to drive a pair of speakers capable of putting out 300 W per driver. It performed well. I liked it so much that I purchased another and then purchased 2 of the larger system of 200W, which is why I am selling these. I have 2 of these Identical amplifiers and this one is being sold for $149.95 since I used it for testing of my console design for about 2 weeks total.
