For sale are two vintage 1980s Polk SDA-SRS 2.3 speakers. Sold by original owner these speakers have been in a clean, smoke-free, air conditioned environment since new. Each cabinet features 6 bass drivers (including SDA array), 3 SL-2000 tweeters, and a bass radiator. Tweeters were replaced in roughly 2007, otherwise they are factory original and in very good condition. There is minor damage to the speaker grill cloth from a pet cat (visible in photos). Sale includes original user manual, SDA connection cable, and original Bass Braces to anchor to the wall of your listening room. This is an ideal speaker set for a buyer who wants to perform a crossover and tweeter recap/upgrade to their desired specification. They are of the age that updating is probably due but upon doing so the buyer will be rewarded with an incredible sounding system. These are large, powerful speakers intended to be paired with a strong amplifier and will fill a large room with incredible sound. The imaging from the Stereo Dimensional Array is stunning. These are among the best speakers ever created by Matthew Polk. Im selling due to a home remodel that eliminated space for speakers of this size. #1641 Polk Audio SDA SRS Signature Reference System READ Polk Audio SDA Signature Reference System , serial number left channel L SDA-SRS 3408, right channel SDA-SRS 3887.The right channel has damage to the wooden parts (top and bottom), they are both cracked and need to be replaced. Also, the right channel (I don’t know how to explain correctly) one speaker looks twisted and may also need to be replaced.The left channel appears to be in good technical condition.Also, when you slightly tap your fingers on the speakers on the right channel (there are 8 identical pieces), they look stuck (I don’t know how to explain this correctly)Watch the video and maybe youll understand what I mean.Both speakers look like they were painted black and have some scuffs. For sale, a pair of black Polk Audio SDA SRS 3.1TL Speakers with grills and interconnect cable. They have the new RD0198-1 tweeters installed as well as upgraded terminals. I have used these in my rotation for the last 5 years. They performed flawlessly for me. I have reinforced the 3/4 mdf base with 3/4 oak plywood, covered the edges with oak veneer, painted black to match and installed 1/4 X 20 X 20mm inserts with adjustable glide feet. You can install carpet spikes as well. They show some nicks and such from age. Pick up only as these are almost 100 pounds a piece.

These speakers are in good cosmetic and working condition. They are huge!! Theyre around 5 feet tall and super heavy. It will be local pick up only because of the sizes. They will come with speaker wire for each cabinet and the connector cable. On one of the speakers the side is coming off, I think that happened in transit. Easy repair with some wood glue. Up are a pair of Vintage Polk Audio SDA SRS speakers, both right and left channel. These were part of my father’s hifi system and were originally purchased in the late 80s or early 90s. These preceded the SDA SRS 1.2 and SDA SRS 1.2TL. The system was taken apart in April 2023 and were working at that point. The speakers have been in a cool, climate controlled storage space since and I currently have no way to test so this is an “as-is” sale. Photos are of the speakers up for sale. Per Speaker Tweeters: 4x SL2000 Stereo Driver: 4x MW6503 SDA Driver: 4x MW6503 Bass Radiator: SW150 Crossover: BE2000-A Comes with the ~20ft blade/blade interconnecting cable. Visually, these are still in great shape, with only some minor blemishes. These were rarely moved at all once installed. Absolutely local pick up only from the Rockville, Maryland area. If you are looking at these, you probably have an idea of how big and heavy these are 5 ft 4 in tall each and 150+ lbs per speaker.
