Without this fix this model of Polk along with many other models that use the same drivers cannot be shipped without causing damage. *Speakers are from original smoke free owner * The cabinets have been well car3d for, routinely oiled, waxed and kept in healthy condition. The cabinets do have some small bumps and bruises, but remain damage free and cosmeticly appealing. * The grill cloth has some small snags, but again overall good. There is one broken Peg, but the grills fit tight and in place. The pegs are easy to break, so installing and removing must be done carefully, its just the nature of the design but the pegs are replaceable. All drivers function perfectly, and the speakers produce clear, room-filling sound.
