Polk Audio LSi15, LSi7, and LSiC home theater speaker set with upgraded networks. This includes a pair of floor standing LSi15’s, the LSiC center channel, and a pair of bookshelf LSi7’s for back surrounds. These were all purchased new by me and have been part of my home theater system till just a month ago. All of the speakers have been upgraded. All have had their crossovers replaced with high-end networks. As I understand it, these networks were designed by GR-Research and assembled by Skiing Ninja. I went with the high-end parts (Sonicap Platinum) for the networks. In 2011 the cost for replacing the networks for all 5 speakers was $1726.20 – well worth it. For both the LSi15’sand LSi7’s I was able to install the new crossovers inside the cabinet. There are a couple of photos showing the crossover inside the LSi7 (I pulled one of the woofers to show the crossover). The crossover for the LSiC was too large to install inside. The LSiC network is in an external box (see photo) with a cable sufficient in length to be able to locate it on the floor behind the center channel speaker. The LSi15’s subwoofer was also upgraded with the Polk DB840 woofer. Polk LSi15 owners feel the DB840 are better sounding in the mid and higher range of the subwoofer. I decided to sell these speakers as a package, since they have equivalent upgrades. Since the LSi15’s are very large and heavy these are being sold for local pickup only. If someone is willing to arrange shipping for all of the speakers I will consider working with the buyer to ship the speakers.

Absolutely like new, matching pair of LSi-15. Im the original owner. Speakers were always kept in an air-conditioned home. These represent the second edition of LSi-15, which feature a much nicer fit and finish for both the piano gloss finish, and the real cherry wood veneer on side panels. For my asking price, you wont find any currently sold speakers that can even come close to the sound of these LSi-15s. Excellent cosmetic condition! I take good care of my equipment - to which my feedback can attest. Speakers have been placed back in their original factory boxes with all of the original packing material, up to and including, protective cloth around the piano gloss finish! Manuals, factory carpet spikes, with rubber feet for hardwood floors, are included. Note: I really do love the sound of these speakers for both music and theater. Make sure to drive them with quality amplifiers, but a quality receiver would be a good start. These speakers punch way above their weight with warm midrange, great imaging, and sparkly highs that never causes fatigue thanks to the soft dome ring radiator tweeter. Same tweeters at the time were used on speakers 4x the price, but Polk decided to really go all out on this series in order to get their foot back in the HiFi arena. Local sale only due to high shipping cost ($300+), but I’m happy to ship them if you want to arrange an insured freight shipper yourself.
