CD works good, tape player doesnt work

The SA-PM16 features a 5 CD changer capacity. Radio and CD work. All 5 CD drawers work perfectly. Great AM/FM reception in my area. System ships with everything listed below and is ready to plug in and play.The sound quality is exceptional. All wiring for speakers included. Power cords and Remote included.Antenna and wiring included.Remote works perfectly. Clock works! NOTE: Tape door opens and Im able to insert a cassette, however it will not play music. System makes ticking sounds like its trying to engage with the cassette.
