I did test the AM & FM bands and they worked great. I also tested all of the speaker outputs which also were all good. The headphone jack in the front works, though when moved it can go in and out, the headphone cord has to be laying just right. I could not test all of the other input ports on the back. All control knobs, buttons & switches were cleaned & lubricated & are in Excellent cosmetic condition. All controls work without noise or scratchiness. The dial scale Lens is clean inside & out. Here is a great PIONEER TX-5500ii Stereo Tuner in excellent condition. The tuner has been tested and everything works properly. All lights work and FM reception is excellent. Note that AM reception could not be tested because there is no longer service in my area. The tuner is in excellent cosmetic condition. The front, top and sides of the cabinet are in great shape. Only small dents on the upper edge of the front and a very small scratch on the front above 106 FM. A serial number has been engraved on the back of the device.(see pictures) No parts appear to have been replaced. Since the device is over 45 years old, some parts may need to be replaced later to achieve optimal quality. The buyer should be aware of this. Am and Fm antenna are not included. Die Kondensatoren in Netzteil und in Signalweg sind ausgetauscht (Nichicon und Nippon Chemi-con). Die älte und geräuschvolle transistoren in Pre-amp stage sind auch ausgetauscht mit moderne low-noise equivalenten (2SC2240 und 2SA970). Die Seitenwände sind auch neu mit Walnussfolie hochgezogen.Das Gerät ist auch etwas modernisiert, hat Bluetooth 5.0 Module eingebaut, und man mit den Schalter kann zwischen AUX und BT wählen.
