This unit does work, but a sprucing up would not hurt this unit as it has not been used daily in quite some time. A good cleanup and replacing some of the internals would certainly not hurt it. The wood cabinet is in very nice condition and is free from any major scratches or stains. The largest cosmetic blemishes is the AM antenna is broke on the back as you can see it is zip tied (make sure to view pictures as they are part of this description).
