I did have to shim underneath the unit to get it to fit in the case properly, but that shouldnt be an issue. Cosmetically, this unit is in decent condition. The face plate has some nicks on the top edge, one of which is fairly noticeable. Face also has some water spotting? and could use a good cleaning, but doesnt look too dirty. Word case has some scratches and is probably a good candidate for a refinishing. I attached some new rubber feet to the case. Amplify your life! This Pioneer SG-9800 is in excellent cosmetic condition with the exception of the black paint mark that was used over the owners name. It powers up and all lights are working. All slides are working properly. The tape monitor button is stuck in the on position. (It wasnt until I pushed it to test). I know just enough about this vintage gear to make things worse so Im selling as-is with the stuck button. Original box, packing materials, and I instruction manual are included.
