Up for bid is the Pioneer T-1000S/CT-93 Cassette Deck Dolby B, C, S & Hx Pro in mostly working condition. Since it is not completely working, it is being sold as FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. Cosmetically it is in fair condition. There are lots of scratches and dents on the face plate (pics #1, 3-7) and some big scratches on the cassette door (Pic #5). There are also many scratches and dents throughout all sides of the case. Please see the remaining pictures for all the cosmetic details. Three belts and the idler were replaced so functionally, it is mostly working. The only issue is that the automatic tape type recognition is not working. Most of the time it wont recognize the tape type properly. Type I type and sometimes type II tapes will be recognized as type IV. Auto tape bias was tested and working when the deck was able to recognize the tape properly as type II. Recording on type II tape was also tested at that time and works. Playback was tested with prerecorded albums as well as type I and II tapes recorded on other decks and is working properly. FF and REW, as well as APS in both directions were tested and working properly. It will be packed in fitted foam and shipped via FedEx Ground. This is the top model in the Pioneer tape deck hierarchy of 1991 in Japan as well as worldwide, there was also a T-1100S / CT-95 equivalent launched in 1993 in Europe and US with some minor improvements over T1000S (copper shielding of some capacitors, etc). The sound of the two is identical, i also have at home a T-1100S and had the opportunity to compare it.However, CT-95 doesnt have an IR remote control as T-1000s and T-1100S does. The deck is in good condition, there are several light scratches and wear marks, see the pictures.Technical condition very good, all working functions (Play, Rew, Ffw, Dolby B,C,S, HX-Pro, monitor, Auto BLE, recording very well on all 3 tape types, all button firmly responding) however at this level a complete revision and electrical re-adjustments is recommended.The belts were recently changed, but not so the pinch rollers, they are still acceptable.
