Vintage Pioneer Stereo Receiver (Model SX-750), it has been fully serviced and recapped and works perfectly, including the FM radio. It’s a fantastic amp which I’ve had paired with my JBL L50’s, for its power it punches well above it weight and has a really musical sound. It is both an amplifier and a hi-fi receiver that comes with an FM/AM tuner. THis receiver is in very good , clean condition a CLASSIC stereo receiver 50 watts RMS per channel Capable of running 2 sets of speakers ALL functions tested ALL dial lamps were replaced by the previous owner Its been opened up and dusted out PLUS the switches and rotary controls have been flushed with De-oxit D5 The tops of the side panels have some weak-fake veneer One toggle cover is missing ( see pics)....a replacement is $13-18 and , theres a surface blemish in the top of the case.

This listing is for a Pioneer SX-750 Stereo Receiver in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. It is rated at 50 WPC at 8 ? from 20Hz to 20KHz with THD less than 0.1%. The main filter capacitors were replaced, as well as all electrolytic caps on the Power Supply, Protection, Power Amplifier and Phono boards. Radio Dial/Meter lamps have been converted to LED-style for long-life and improved brightness. The wood-grain look vinyl top/sides were peeling. It was removed and replaced with real walnut veneer. The front corner pieces were replaced with solid walnut. A rubbed oil finish was applied. A color copy of the Product Sell Sheet and a copy of the Operation Manual will be included. It has been tested/serviced and is working. The following outline covers the testing/service done: · All speaker connections have been tested and are working, both right and left channels. · The tuner was tested using a simple wire antenna attached. AM and FM stations were received as expected across the radio dial. · Tape 1, Tape 2 and Aux inputs were tested and function as expected. · Phono input was tested and functions as expected. · Headphone jack was tested and is working. · All Switches and Potentiometers were flushed with contact cleaner, followed by treatment with the appropriate DeoxIt treatment. · Main Filter/Power caps were replaced, as well as all electrolytic capacitors on the Power Supply, Protection, Phono and Power Amplifier boards were replaced with quality materials. · Output transistors were cleaned/checked and re-installed with fresh heat sink compound. · The Idle Current was set per service manual guidelines. · The faceplate and all knobs were removed, cleaned and hand polished. · The stereo and all source indictor lamps are working as can be seen in pictures. · Radio Dial lamps were replaced with Warm White LED lamps for cool operation/longevity. · The Signal Strength and Tuning Meters were working at time of testing. · Cleaning on all exterior surfaces was done to improve appearance. · Any missing top cabinet or bottom plate screws were replaced. · All feet were inspected and replaced as needed. · A final extended use test was performed to ensure functionality · The last picture shows the bulbs/capacitors replaced. The old parts are NOT shipped with the unit and are responsibly disposed of locally. Please Note: There are two items to be aware of – as shown in the last two pictures. 1) The two rear AC plugs are shown, with one having small corner “chips. These are caused by someone attempting to force a polarized plug into a non-polarized receptacle (all cords were non-polarized when units of this era were built). The plugs both were tested and are working. 2) The Power/Speaker switch has a slight wobble when turned. The switch is fully functional as it is and is hardly noticeable when using. Pioneer SX-750 AM/FM Stereo Receiver. Works.

Overall super nice condition. Silver face is very clean with less then typical almost unnoticeable scuffs. Wood box has the usual lifting and small missing plastic veneer as we have pointed out in the photos. When we opened it up we found the display lamp holder (clear plastic) has some cracks and was slightly loose, we did not attempt to repair/replace it but and left it as it arrived - the lamps do work. We did clean all the pots and switches and the receiver has been fully tested. It sounds great and everything is working as it should be. See photos for details.

Vintage condition, with some wear and dust buildup, as shown in the photos. The FM Band does not work. It gets a little signal, but not enough. For this reason, it is being sold For Parts or Not Working. Everything else on it is in working order. You will receive the SX-750 receiver only. No other accessories are included.
