Pioneer Graphic Equalizer (Model # SG-9800) This Equalizer was an estate find, and I know next to nothing about it! Its pretty clean looking, so I believe it was taken care of by its original owners. The unit powers on as can be seen in the pictures, but I do not know how well it works. Therefore, I am selling it AS-IS for parts or repair. The only issue I am aware of is when the Equalizer is turned to the on position, the band lights on the left side do not illuminate. Only the right side lights up. According to google/youtube, this is most likely due to one of the bulbs being burnt out, and like a Christmas tree, when one goes, none will work on that side until it is replaced. BUT I AM NOT CERTAIN AND MAKE NO GUARANTEES! I once again stress the fact that this unit is being sold AS-IS with NO RETURNS! It could be perfectly fine, and this would be a massive bargain for the buyer. You will receive exactly what you see in the pictures. No warranties or guarantees are implied otherwise. Vintage Pioneer SG-9800 Graphic Equalizer in good condition. This has been in storage for years. I recently deoxidized the main controls, tested it with my home stereo, and found it to be in fine working condition: all LEDs light up, all sliders function, both channels and inputs of the EQ work. However, the tape monitor button does not stay depressed — this seems to be a common issue with that one part failing to latch after decades. Also on the right side, the plastic of 2 of the sliders is slightly bent and/or loose, but they still function and slide. The front face is mostly shiny (some slight blemishes), sides look nice with only a few signs of age. I do not have the original box or manual, but will ship it securely in a heavy-duty box with plenty of padding. Let me know if you have any questions! Shipping to domestic US only.

Vintage Pioneer SG-9800 Graphic Equalizer in good condition. This has been in storage for years. I recently deoxidized the main controls, tested it with my home stereo, and found it to be in fine working condition: all LEDs light up, all sliders function, both channels and inputs of the EQ work. However, the tape monitor button does not stay depressed — this seems to be a common issue with that one part failing to latch after decades. Also on the right side, the plastic of 1 or 2 of the sliders is slightly bent, but they still function and slide. The front face is mostly shiny, with some smudges and discoloration on parts. I did not try to clean the front. There is some discoloration and spotting on the black sides, but it looks worse in pictures. Someone who knows the proper way to clean these surfaces could likely have them sparkling again! I do not have the original box or manual, but will ship it securely in a heavy-duty box with plenty of padding. Let me know if you have any questions. Shipping to domestic US only.

A very nice example of a Pioneer SG-9800 Graphic Equalizer in its original box/packaging. All sliders cleaned with Deoxit F100L Fader Lube, tape monitor and attenuator switches were replaced, everything tested & working great. It comes with the original copy of the operating instructions as well. There is a very small mark on the faceplate near the logo, hard to see, check the pictures. EQs make a huge difference with digital music like CDs and MP3s. The faceplate was removed, cleaned & polished with Blue Magic. The case was removed & cleaned, dust was blown out from the interior. All knobs and switch covers were removed and cleaned, all potentiometers and switches were cleaned and treated with Deoxit F5 or Deoxit F100L Fader Lube for long term protection.
