ACHTUNG: Laut meinem Radio- und Fernsehtechniker ist der Prozessor des Receivers defekt. Daher wird er hier ausdrücklich als defekt verkauft!!! Die UVP beläuft sich auf 2.999 € Pioneers AV-Monster 18,3 Kilogramm (!!!) und die eindrücklichen Masse von 435 x 185 x 441 mm bringt das neue Pioneer-Flaggschiff mit sich. Das Gerät aus der Schachtel zu bekommen, wird zur Fitnessübung. Und sofort wird klar, hier werden keine halben Sachen gemacht. Top-Verarbeitung, Aluminium-Front und ein schlichtes, aber sehr zweckmässiges Design schinden Eindruck. Front-Anschlüsse und Bedienung sind diskret unter einer grossen Aluminiumklappe verborgen, sodass nur noch die beiden riesigen Wahl- resp. Lautstärkenregler sowie der Powerbutton zu sehen ist, der mit einer blauen LED elegant umrandet ist. Der Receiver ist sowohl in Schwarz als auch in Silber erhältlich. HDCP-2.2-taugliche HDMI-Anschlüsse Um noch mehr mit imposanten Fakten über den Pioneer SC-LX901 um mich zu werfen, kurz ein Blick auf die Rückseite des Geräts. Alle Anschlüsse (von Netz über HDMI und Audio bis hin zu Lautsprecher und Netzwerk) gezählt, besitzt der AV-Receiver 88 verschiedene Anschlüsse. Trotz der immensen Anzahl wirkt die Aufteilung sehr aufgeräumt und nicht überladen. Natürlich findet man unter den 88 Verbindungen beinahe jede erdenkliche Anschlussmöglichkeit. Sieben HDMI-Ein- sowie zwei -Ausgänge bilden das Fundament der modernen Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Fünf der HDMI-Eingänge sind HDCP-2.2-tauglich. Das heisst: Der neuste Standard der Hardwareverschlüsselung, der vor allem bei neuen 4K-Inhalten zum Einsatz kommt, wird gänzlich unterstützt. Weiter werden 4K/60p, HDR, BT.2020 sowie der 4:4:4-Farbraum ebenfalls unterstützt. Der Pioneer SC-LX901 ist somit bestens für die Zukunft gerüstet. Neben koaxialen (2) und optischen (3) Audioeingängen sind sogar analoge Video- und Audioeingänge sowie ein Phonoeingang (MM) vorhanden. Verbindung zum Internet kann entweder wireless (2.4 oder 5 Ghz) oder über den Netzwerkanschluss hergestellt werden. Da die beiden immersiven Tonformate dts:X und Dolby Atmos unterstützt werden, müssen auch auf der Lautsprecher-Seite entsprechende Anschlüsse eingeplant sein. Um den vollen 3D-Sound mit einem 11.2-Lautsprecher-Setup geniessen zu können, musste mit dem Vorgänger (SC-LX89) auf zwei externe Verstärker ausgewichen werden. Nicht so beim neuen Flaggschiff, des elf volle Verstärkerkanäle und somit auch so viele Anschlüsse für (passive) Lautsprecher bietet. Gewohnte schnelle Einrichtung Sind alle Geräte und Lautsprecher angeschlossen, kann mit der eigentlichen Einrichtung gestartet werden. Das MCACC-Pro-Einmess-System begleitet einen durch die Installation. Schritt für Schritt wird der Receiver zum Heimkino konfiguriert. Das Messmikrofon erkennt die Lautsprecher und deren Abstände und stellt den Pioneer SC-LX901 optimal ein. Angeschlossene Quellen werden getestet und nach wenigen Minuten ist der Receiver betriebsbereit. Immer wieder faszinierend, wie schnell und präzise Pioneer mit dem MCACC-Einmess-System aus der Standardkonfigurationen ein massgeschneidertes Heimkinosystem macht. Auch für weniger versierte Benutzer wird die Einrichtung so zum Kinderspiel. Einen kleinen Punkt gibt es zu bemängeln: Bei der deutschen Übersetzung des Einrichtungsassistenten haben sich Schreibfehler eingeschlichen. Bei einem Topgerät wie dem SC-LX901 sollte das nicht passieren.
